Jeep’s sales are improving year after year. 2021 should be the best year so far. Jeep is introducing brand-new models, and it will also release a couple of old nameplates that are making comebacks. More importantly, Jeep really has everything to offer.
The focus is on crossovers and SUVs, but now even the pickup truck is in the game. Off-road models are available too, and Jeep offers one of the most impressive lineups in the world. That also includes hybrid models. Here are the five best Jeep’s models for 2021 and why you should buy them.
2021 Jeep Wrangler
The latest spy shots of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler are available. Jeep will introduce various cosmetic upgrades to its SUV. However, the biggest news is Wrangler PHEV or Wrangler Hybrid model. In terms of changes, Wrangler will get a sharper design of the front fascia. However, the famous seven-slot grille will remain intact. Wrangler PHEV will arrive with a clearer rear section, and electric powertrain sits between the driveshaft and exhaust system. As for the performance, regular Wrangler deploys a 3.6-liter V6 as standard. This unit generates 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.
It comes with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. A 2.0-liter turbo-four with 268 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque could be in the offer as well. Wrangler PHEV will most likely mate two electric motors to a standard V6 Pentastar engine. However, a hybrid version is still quite a mystery in terms of its power and fuel efficiency. Wrangler is currently the best off-roading SUV you can find. However, that could change in the near future once the Ford Bronco arrives. Wrangler will start at $30,000, and the PHEV version will cost between $35,000 and 40,000.

2021 Jeep Gladiator
Jeep introduced a new Gladiator pickup this year. However, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator is the real deal because it will arrive with a diesel engine. It is the second year of production, so the changes are minor. Still, diesel powertrain is more than enough for every customer. Moreover, Gladiator will introduce its Rubicon and desert-rated Mojave versions. Gladiator will ride on a body-on-frame architecture and its 137-inch long wheelbase. It looks aggressive, and its exterior is very practical. So far, this model has been available in a crew-cab setup only. Hopefully, the 2021 model will introduce at least one more cab configuration. Basically, we are expecting from Jeep to deliver both two-door and four-door models.
On the inside, Gladiator pickup will offer a tech-rich cabin with great comfort and plenty of room. Most likely, Gladiator will get a new 7-inch display that replaces a 5-inch unit. Moreover, Jeep could introduce the next-generation Uconnect5 infotainment system. A 3.6-liter V6 engine is available as standard once again. However, Gladiator will get its first diesel powertrain ever. It is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit that generates 260 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque. The price will start at $31,000 for the base gasoline model. Diesel will cost slightly more, at around $35,000. New 2021 Gladiator will go on sale this September.

2021 Jeep Compass
The upcoming 2021 Jeep Compass continues its incredible journey with further upgrades. Most of the changes will happen on the inside. That includes FCA’s brand-new Uconnect5 infotainment system and much more. Compass Hybrid will go on sale as well, and even Grand Compass variant is rumored. In terms of design, Compass will mostly remain. The 2021 model will introduce minor changes, and Compass will again look modern and stylish. The interior offers a standard 7-inch touchscreen again, while the 8.4-inch display remains optional.
Upper trim levels are providing real luxury, but the price is far from affordable. Still, Compass is a fantastic SUV, and its hybrid powertrain will bring something new. Compass PHEV will deploy a 1.3-liter turbo-four engine in combination with electric motors. The power is sent to the rear wheels, and this version will produce around 240 hp. Jeep promised over 30 miles of all-electric range, but official specs are not available yet. As for the regular Compass, it uses the same 2.4-liter with 180 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. The price will start at $32,000, while Compass Hybrid will cost closer to $40,000.

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
New 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is about to get some significant changes. That includes changes in terms of size, and this SUV could potentially arrive with three rows of seats. However, this SUV will continue as a mid-size model. So far, we’ve seen spy shots and longer wheelbase is the first thing you will see. The rear overhang is more prominent, which should result in a more interior room. The Interior will also gain a brand-new 12-inch touchscreen. Jeep will work on new and more upscale materials as well. The third row of seats will be optional, while the two-row seating configuration remains standard.
As for the performance, Grand Cherokee uses the same 3.6-liter V6. Optional 5.7-liter Hemi V8 delivers 360 horses and 390 lb-ft of twisting power. Even the EcoDiesel V6 is available. Cherokee and Grand Cherokee models could also get the same eTorque setup as Jeep Wrangler. However, this is just a rumor at the moment. Lastly, Grand Cherokee SRT uses 6.2-liter V8 with 707 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. The price starts at $33,000. On the other hand, the Grand Cherokee SRT will cost up to $70,000. Jeep will launch its new SUV this summer.

2021 Jeep Renegade
The last model on this list is the 2021 Jeep Renegade. The highlight of the 2021 model will be a hybrid variant. Renegade PHEV will go on sale in Europe and the United States. Design-wise, this model wears a recognizable styling, and it looks unique. Renegade is a subcompact crossover with an elegant front fascia, and it rides on 16-inch wheels. We’d recommend the optional My Sky Roof feature. Design won’t change that much, but headlights and taillights will be reshaped for sure.
Renegade offers ample legroom and headroom for such a small crossover. Even the cargo area is above average, with 50 cubic feet of space at a maximum. A 1.4-liter turbo-four is producing 160 hp and 185 lb-ft of torque. Optional 2.4-liter four-cylinder generates 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the PHEV variant comes with 230 horses, and it will deliver over 33 mpg combined. New 2021 Renegade costs $22,000, while the PHEV version will start at around $27,000. The sales will begin in Europe and the USA this summer.
