Wrangler SUV will continue its exciting journey as one of the most legendary SUVs. This leads us to the 2024 Jeep Wrangler, a model that will bring many updates. Since the Ford Bronco is here, Wrangler now has a true competitor. And while you can use Wrangler as a traditional SUV, this model is more about its adventurous character and off-road ability.
Some things will change, but don’t expect a complete redesign yet. One of the biggest upgrades will be an all-electric model, dubbed the Wrangler Magneto. Besides that, the Wrangler model will gain mild exterior and interior updates. As before, this SUV comes in many trim levels and configurations.
Visually, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler will not introduce a major redesign. However, a mid-cycle facelift is on the way, which is a perfectly reasonable thing to do at the moment. The architecture remains, which also means the Wrangler’s size won’t change. Jeep Wrangler will stick to its roots and it will wear a very recognizable design. It is a practical exterior with removable doors and a roof.
There are so many trim levels, colors and configurations available. However, the Rubicon trim is the most exciting one. This model has locking front and rear differentials, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and Fox shock. Jeep will reportedly reveal more details in the coming months.
Jeep Wrangler Interior
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler will also get some interesting interior upgrades. As before, Wrangler offers two-door and four-door variants. The four-door model is more adaptable because it provides significantly greater cargo capacity and more room in the second row. The base trim level is available with a smaller 5-inch display, USB ports, and Bluetooth.
However, upper trim levels are offering either 7-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen options. Furthermore, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi, and automatic climate control are all standard. New Wrangler will gain more standard equipment in 2024, and it will also introduce new driver-assistance aids.
Wrangler Magneto is On the Way
Nothing will change under the hood. The 3.6-liter V6 will power the 2024 Jeep Wrangler. It is a very reliable gasoline engine with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. There is an optional 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that generates 270 hp and a torque of 295 lb-ft. A 3.0-liter diesel V6 is also on offer, and this engine develops up to 260 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. A hybrid powertrain remains as well, just like a larger V8 engine that powers the Wrangler Rubicon 392 model.
On the other hand, the most important upgrade will be an all-electric powertrain. This model will be named Jeep Wrangler Magneto. While everything is at the concept stage, many car experts believe that this model will produce an astonishing 625 horsepower. Thanks to a larger battery pack, Wrangler Magneto will also provide an impressive driving range on a single charge.
2024 Jeep Wrangler Price, Release Date
The base trim level will start at around $30,000, as before. However, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Magneto model will cost significantly more. Jeep is yet to announce this model, which should happen by the end of the year. The sales will begin at some point in the later stages of 2023.
