2023 Chrysler Voyager: Changes, Release Date

The 2023 Chrysler Voyager will continue with the production. This minivan is based on a more opulent Pacifica model. However, Voyager has so many things that separate it from the Pacifica. On the other hand, some things are exactly the same. The Voyager model obtained important upgrades recently, and we don’t know how many updates the 2023MY will actually get.

Interestingly, the Voyager minivan is no longer available for sale to the public. This could change later this year, but things are far from official. As before, Voyager will continue to rival Kia Carnival, Toyota Sienna, and Honda Odyssey.

Chrysler Voyager Facelift

The upcoming 2023 Chrysler Voyager will gain a couple of upgrades, for sure. However, we don’t know how significant upgrades actually are. As we said, the Voyager model is based on the Pacifica minivan, but it is not as attractive as its older sibling. Some things are totally different, which is a good thing. Surprisingly, the Voyager minivan offers plenty of standard features.

That includes automatic LED headlights, larger aluminum wheels, and much more. 17-inch rims are available as standard at the moment. The Voyager model will probably get a mild facelift, along with new exterior colors. On the other hand, the platform remains, so this minivan will remain 203.8 inches long.

Interior Upgrades

The 2023 Chrysler Voyager will also have a lot of the same features as the Pacifica variant. Of course, Voyager, as a more affordable model, does not offer such an impressive level of comfort. Leather seats are standard in the range-topping trim level exclusively. The same goes for the rear-seat entertainment system and some other premium features.

There will be three rows of seats, and the cargo area will provide 32 cubic feet of space. Tech-wise, a 3.5-inch digital display is available as standard. We hope to see a new and larger gauge cluster, which is a must for this model. On the other hand, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen will remain.

Under the Hood, Transmission, MPG

Under the hood, the 2023 Chrysler Voyager will have the same 3.6-liter V6 engine. This gasoline unit is capable of developing up to 287 horsepower and it comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Chrysler provides a front-wheel-drive as standard. The current model sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds. We think the new model will achieve the same result as the outgoing one.

Some rumors are strongly predicting a hybrid powertrain as an option. However, this is far from official. After all, the current Voyager model gets 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. That is more than enough to be in line with other models in the minivan segment.

2023 Chrysler Voyager Release Date, Price

As we already mentioned, the current Voyager is not available for public sales. This could change in the coming months, although this is far from official. The 2023 Chrysler Voyager will start at around $31,000. In case you didn’t know, Chrysler previously dropped the base L version. The sales will begin later in 2022, and we can’t wait to hear more details about this cool minivan.
