The upcoming 2021 Ram Rebel TRX already outperforms the famous Ford Raptor model. However, Ram plans to introduce a new interior design with some significant upgrades. A few days ago, a camouflaged prototype has been spied with the new interior being visible as well. Before that, we’ve seen test mules of the arriving Rebel TRX so now everything seems to be familiar.
The leaked images are showing a unique instrument cluster but the layout is similar to the regular Ram 1500 model. We’ve already written about the vehicle’s design and specifications. This time, we will focus on interior design and its features.
2021 Rebel TRX Interior Images
The latest leak comes from a YouTube video. In this video, new 2021 Ram Rebel TRX features plenty of interior details. The shots are showing mostly the control panel and instrument cluster. Let’s be clear, these photos are not groundbreaking at all. The interior layout is similar to other Ram’s models. However, some details are definitely unique and brand-new. For a start, the tachometer is the same, with the redline at 6,400 RPM as in Charger and Challenger Hellcat models. That confirms the famous Hellcat V8 will certainly power a new TRX variant.
On the right side of the tachometer, some interesting icons are visible. It seems like one of the icons in showing the shock absorber. It is evident that the Rebel TRX will get significant adjustability for steering and suspension. The story continues with the drag display on the center screen. The second photo is showing an engine’s control panel with a unique shape. Instead of a rotary dial, this variant will use a more conventional shifter. A two-wheel-drive button is gone and numerous driving modes are visible too.
Comfort
Ram will try to deliver a very comfortable cabin as with any other model. However, new 2021 Ram Rebel TRX is a different model thanks to its extremely powerful engine. However, the manufacturer promises a quiet cabin with minimal wind and road noise. The front seats will feature a unique shape that should provide an even higher level of comfort.
Ram Rebel TRX will be a good option for longer trips, especially with a lot of highways to be covered. However, off-roading is its primary purpose. You can expect the same Ram’s climate control system with rear A/C vents and effective heating options. Leather upholstery will be offered as standard and there will be room for four passengers.
Technology Features and Storage
In terms of tech, new 2021 Ram Rebel TRX will offer plenty of it. FCA’s next-gen Uconnect5 infotainment system will be in the offer. This system is built on Android so expect plenty of phone integrations and systems. A 12-inch touchscreen is very luxurious for a pickup truck segment. It offers sharp graphics and a simple interface. Multiple USB and USB-C ports are available, with standard Apple CarPlay.
What Ram lacked before is the driver-assistance features. Rebel TRX won’t have that issue so expect plenty of safety aids too. As for the storage, Rebel TRX will offer a generous room. Its center console is very large and configurable. The manufacturer will also provide hidden spaces in the rear floor and much more.
2021 Ram Rebel TRX Release Date
We hope to see this muscle truck later this summer. As you know, Coronavirus rescheduled everything, including the releases of the new models. However, new 2021 Ram Rebel TRX will surely arrive this year. The price will most likely start at around $65,000.
