The upcoming 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition is the newest model in the lineup. It is a premium version based on the Limited trim level, as the name itself suggests. New edition will also become available on the heavy-duty lineup of trucks. While it does not improve performances, Night Edition will deliver plenty of visual changes.
That includes both exterior and interior refreshments. Thanks to that, Ram 1500 pickup will get even more customization. The sales will begin by the end of 2020 and here’s everything you need to know about new Ram’s edition.
2021 Limited Night Edition Exterior Updates
The arriving 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition will look very premium and stylish. Whatsoever, Limited trim level already looks amazing. However, Night Edition will improve the truck’s appearance with the latest upgrades. Everything starts with a monochromatic design and an all-new black grille. The front fascia looks unique, and Ram will also deliver more chrome accents and special badges.
The black aluminum wheels are impressive and are ranged from 20 to 22-inch in terms of size. The rear section comes with new exhaust tips and new taillights with dark bezels. The headlamps are finished in the same manner, and Ram will add body-colored exterior features and new power mirrors.
The all-new 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition will offer an amazing interior design full of premium features. Just like the exterior, the interior will also offer a blacked-out theme. As this is the Limited trim level, most of the features are offered as standard. On top of that, Ram will add more equipment and more driver-assistance. That includes new adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning. Various black interior accents are all over the cabin and Ram offers a premium tri-fold tonneau cover.
A 19-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system is standard too, which is great. We’d recommend an affordable Comfort Package that adds wireless charging and a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. We are slightly disappointed as the 8.4-inch touchscreen is offered at all. Unfortunately, a 12-inch touchscreen remains optional.
Engine Lineup Won’t Change
Under the bonnet, this special edition won’t introduce any type of improvement. That means the 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition will deploy a 5.7-liter Hemi V8. On top of that, Ram will offer the eTorque mild-hybrid version. This variant will provide an additional 130 lb-ft of torque and improved fuel efficiency.
Thanks to that, Ram 1500 pickup will tow almost 13,000 pounds. As for the regular Hemi V8 powertrain, it generates 395 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. There is a choice between a 4×2 and 4×4 driving configurations, as always before. Lastly, Limited Night Edition is available in both crew cab and mega cab setups.
2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition Price and Release Date
As for the price, new Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition will start at about $60,000. As we said, this edition will become available on Ram’s heavy-duty trucks as well. The sales will begin by the end of 2020, and Ram should release more details in the coming weeks.
