2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Looks More Attractive

The all-new 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat continues with the improvements. This supercar has is the proof of evolution, becoming more and more attractive model. Its appearance is truly impressive but it is what’s under the hood that matters the most. We are talking about a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that provides three different outputs, with all of them producing over 700 horsepower.

The only real competitor is Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 that delivers slightly lower figures. The two-door Hellcat model is available with the widebody kit and numerous appearance packages. The interior is not in the focus, but we must say that the Challenger SRT Hellcat model offers more than pleasant cabin. However, this car is all about its attractive appearance and sheer power.

For 2021, the 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will get various improvements. For a start, the Challenger Super Stock model is available. It is a detuned variant of the SRT Demon model. However, the Super Stock version is limited to a one-year production only. This model will generate 807 horsepower and it comes with the widebody kit. The powertrain calibration is revised and the suspension is retuned so it optimizes the quarter-mile performance.

Dodge will provide more lightweight materials, including the all-aluminum Brembo brake calipers. The rotors are downsized too, along with the wheels wrapped with Nitto drag radials. The Super Stock shares a lot of components with the Demon model, including the line-lock system that heats up the rear tires.

The 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will arrive with a couple of essential interior upgrades. The cabin was lastly redesigned in 2015 so some things are outdated. Since then, Challenger is available with driver-centric layout and traditional switchgear. However, new model will arrive with more upright materials, including leather upholstery. Moreover, unique badging is available, along with various gauge colors.

The heated/ventilated seats are offered as standard and the cabin is still roomy and practical. We’d like to see less plastics that are looking cheap, but some things will surely remain. Its cargo area is the same as in the BMW M4 model, but Dodge provides additional carry-ons in the trunk. Lastly, Challenger comes with a large center-console bin.

Challenger supercar will introduce new sports dedicated equipment that is useful for drag racing. An eight-speed automatic transmission is available and Challenger SRT Hellcat sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. The top speed is rated at 125 mph. The Widebody package comes with wider wheels and tires, so the grip is better, along with the stability.

The 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat comes with a price that starts at $62,000. On the other hand, the Super Stock variant will cost up to $86,000. The biggest competitors are Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 and Chevy Camaro ZL1. Dodge will launch new Challenger in the coming months.
