The upcoming 2021 Chrysler Voyager is coming to the dealerships as a replacement for Pacifica minivan. However, Pacifica will continue its journey, so we are not talking about the end of the production. Instead, the new Voyager will serve as a more affordable replacement. Whatsoever, Chrysler plans to make new Voyager an entry-level Pacifica model.
That also means the Pacifica model can now sail into a premium segment. For those who need something less luxurious, 2021 Voyager will be a perfect choice. The approaching model will arrive with reliable performance, a high level of comfort, and three rows of seats. For 2021, you can expect small interior refinements and nothing more than that.
2021 Voyager Exterior Changes
The all-new 2021 Chrysler Voyager will look similar to the current Pacifica minivan. However, Voyager will represent a budget-friendly variant so it won’t look that much premium. Whatsoever, Voyager will be in range with Pacifica’s L and LX trim levels. However, the shape is almost the same, including the vehicle’s dimensions. Even the design language is so easy to recognize.
On the other hand, you can easily spot the difference. Chrysler will deliver attractive styling cues such as larger bumpers and grille. Overall, the front fascia is very upscale, and it will gain beautiful chrome trims. The headlights are wider, and you can also spot a sportier presence in the back.
On the inside, this minivan will gain an exceptionally modern design, and it will look upright. The 2021 Chrysler Voyager won’t be as luxury as its Pacifica sibling. The very same 3.6-liter V6 that powers Pacifica is available in the new 2021 Chrysler Voyager. Clearly, the manufacturer finds this engine reliable, and customers are surely satisfied with it. Potent V6 is producing 287 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to that, Voyager and Pacifica are mechanical twins.
A 9-speed automatic transmission comes as standard. Voyager delivers 22 mpg combined, and it can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 7.6 seconds. As for the towing capacity, this minivan is rated at around 3,550 pounds.
