But Grand Cherokee Trailhawk represents a very good option if the base model doesn’t satisfy you. It comes with a distinctive exterior design and premium interior. It offers a room for five passengers and it is another four-door model. Powered by a 3.6-liter V6, Grand Cherokee Trailhawk delivers almost 300 horses. New 2020 model will get minor updates.
2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Design
New 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk won’t introduce that many visual changes. Design is relatively fresh and it looks both modern and attractive. Unlike the base model, Trailhawk comes with plenty of blacked-out features. That includes the bumpers, wheels and the grille. Equipping this SUV with black exterior paint will provide truly impressive and mean appearance.
Jeep will introduce more chrome trims, especially around the side mirrors and the seven-slot grille. All-season tires, numerous black trims, and new optional wheels are all available. The design looks very distinctive and Jeep offers the all-new red tow hooks. Gloss black features are visible at first glance, especially the roof rails.
Packages
Jeep will also offer numerous packages. Thanks to that, you can equip your new 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk in a more fashionable way. For example, Premium Lighting Package costs only $700. It adds auto high beam headlights, LED fog lamps, LED daytime running lights and Bi-Xenon HID headlights.
Trailhawk Luxury Package is available for $2,400 and it adds some impressive features. That includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and cargo compartment cover. On top of that, power tilt/telescoping steering column and rain-sensitive wipers are available as well. Protech II Package comes with numerous driver-assistance features. Adaptive cruise control, advanced brake assist and front collision warning are in the offer.
Moreover, this package adds blind-spot monitors and lane departure warning. Interior Metal Package costs $800 and it adds numerous aluminum trims. That includes aluminum shifter bezel, steering wheel, and aluminum instrument panel.
2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Interior
Some parts of the all-new 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk looks really exclusive. A distinctive black interior scheme is available with the leather upholstery. However, the interior of the 2020 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk will get minor updates only. Like always before, there will be two rows of seats and a room for five persons. Engine
The all-new 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk will offer two powertrain options. Everything starts with a standard 3.6-liter V6. This engine provides 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Optional 5.7-liter V8 cranks out 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of twist. Both units are available with the same 8-speed automatic transmission.
The standard engine provides 21 mpg combined while optional V8 is rated at 19 mpg combined. Just like always before, 4WD configuration is available as well.
Price and Release Date
Base Grand Cherokee model starts at $33,000. However, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk will cost $45,000. Trailhawk is the mid-trim level and it offers plenty of luxury.
Thanks to the numerous optional features and packages the price can hit $60,000 with ease. Jeep will release its newest SUV later in 2019, probably in November.
