The next one on the list is a 3.2-liter V6 that managed 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque. This engine gives fuel economy in the city/highway of 20/29 mpg (FWD), 19/27 mpg (AWD), 18/26 mpg (Active Drive II), 18/24 mpg (Trailhawk). The last one is a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that produced around 270 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy of this type of engine is the city/highway fuel economy 23/31 mpg (FWD), 21/29 mpg (AWD), 20/27 mpg (Active Drive II) and for the (Trailhawk) 20/26 mpg.

Release Date and Price

The price and release date of the forthcoming 2020 Jeep Cherokee is early to predict. However, we can expect a slight increase in price. The current one Latitude trim that is the base one with a front-wheel drive system starting little less than $26,000. However, if one chooses model Latitude Plus the price will go up to $27,700, while the Limited starts at $31,600. The most popular and one of the most equipped is a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. This one is around $34,500, while the luxurious Overland is $37,500.

The all-wheel-drive system on all trims above will adds about $1,500 more to the price. There are many competitors on the market and models such as Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Nissan Rogue, Toyota RAV4 are in the inner circle.
