The 2020 Dodge Challenger is a well-known muscle car with astonishing performance and modern interior. The design looks really aggressive and the ride both fun and smooth. If you are a fan of speed and races, you got to love the Challenger. Furthermore, safety rating is good as it comes with a five-star crash-test rating. If you find this car boring, a Challenger SRT Demon offers one of the most powerful engines ever seen in this segment.
While the current model is the best model we’ve seen from Challenger, the question is what will happen to the 2020 Dodge Challenger. The current generation will continue for a couple of more years for sure. It means there won’t be a redesign or any further significant upgrades. Some reports are saying the new generation will start in 2021 when Dodge plans to introduce a new Charger. Until that happens, the 2020 Challenger will get more muscles, wider rear part and larger air intakes up front.
2020 Dodge Challenger exterior will see some improvements
The upcoming 2020 Dodge Challenger will not arrive with significant updates. Bigger changes will happen probably in 2021 when the Dodge should announce a new and revolutionary design. Before that, the 2020 model will see some improvements, and most of them will happen in the exterior department. The car profile will stay intact and that includes Challenger’s dimensions and proportions. The shape will also remain, and the only upgrades will happen at the front and rear parts.
For the start, the front end will keep its layout. The grille is slightly more pronounced and the round headlights are looking sleeker. Furthermore, air intakes in the bumper will be larger. The rear end gets wider which will add to overall aggressive look and stance.
Some reports are suggesting the new Challenger will get an all-new platform. A speculated platform is the platform that underpins the current Maserati model. On the other hand, other speculations are saying the Alpha Romeo’s architecture could make a production.
2020 Dodge Challenger interior changes
The interior of the 2020 Dodge Challenger will stay the same as on the current model. Literally, zero changes will happen and the cabin will remain comfortable and modern.
The only bad thing is the aging touchscreen in the center, but 7.0-inch display is optional, so we recommend this unit over the older one. We personally like the retro design and features and many customers will hope to see the same features in the future.
2020 Dodge Challenger powertrain details
