Two weeks ago FCA revealed a couple of special editions. Everything was a part of the 35th anniversary of the Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager models. Chrysler showcased three 35th anniversary editions. The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica 35th Anniversary Edition surely caught the biggest attention.
This very popular minivan is available in Touring L, Touring L Plus and Limited trims. Moreover, a Pacifica Hybrid is available. Special edition adds unique badging, Chrysler emblems and Liquid Chrome with a gloss black inserts. Optionally, FCA is offering an Appearance package that adds additional black accents. Besides that, Pacifica will remain seven or eight-seat minivan.
2020 Chrysler Pacifica Changes And Updates
The exterior of the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica 35th Anniversary Edition MiniVan won’t largely depart from the base Pacifica model. Surely, additional upgrades are visible but dimensions and the shape are intact. This special edition also comes with Chrysler emblems up front and in the back. That stitching can be found on the doors, steering wheel, instrument panel, and the seats. Special Edition’s logo sits on the floor mats and additional badging is easy to spot as well.
The upholstery is a mix of the Nappa Leather and McKinley. Piano black trims are looking gorgeous on the center console and overall, the luxury is at the highest possible level. Regular gasoline-powered Pacifica offers room for eight passengers. However, the Hybrid model will offer room for seven occupants. The cabin is spacious and even cargo area is roomy and practical.
2020 Chrysler Pacifica Powertrain
Nothing will change under the hood. The same 3.6-liter V6 will power both the base model and the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica 35th Anniversary Edition. This engine is producing up to 287 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. A 9-speed automatic transmission is available. The potent V6 is delivering 22 mpg combined.
However, Pacifica Hybrid is available as well and it will deliver much better fuel economy figures. The same V6 engine is available with the electric motors and the battery pack. Total output is over 300 horses and the mileage will deliver 34 mpg combined at least. Moreover, the full driving range is set at 565 miles and 34 miles on electric power only.
2020 Chrysler Pacifica Release Date And Price
The anniversary package will become available at one point this summer. The 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Anniversary Edition will be available in Touring L, Touring L Plus and Limited trim levels. Whatsoever, Pacifica Hybrid will be available as well. The starting price for this package will be around $40,000 or slightly less.
