The all-new 2019 Ram Rebel TRX is slowly approaching the markets in order to match the new Ford F-150 Raptor. This truck started its production two years ago at Texas State Fair and it is using the same body frame as the model Ram 1500.
Today, 2019 is taking some styling cues from its rival Raptor. However, Ram is speculated to put a Hellcat engine under the Rebel’s hood. On top of that, the exterior looks stunning and kinda scary, while the interior is equipped with surprisingly many high-tech features.
2019 Ram Rebel TRX Exterior Redesign and Changes
The approaching 2019 Ram Rebel TRX is using the same body frame as the Ram 1500, as we already mentioned. On the other hand, the exterior design will depart from the 1500 model, mostly because of Rebel’s needs. The shape changes and the new suspension system is added. The new TRX model comes with both front and rear coil springs and that is an interesting decision from Ram, as most of the trucks are using a leaf-spring suspension. However, with the big tires that measure 37 inches in diameter and mounted on exclusive 18-inch Beadlock wheels this model is the king of an off-road.
We find it a little odd that the exterior of the 2019 Ram Rebel TRX departed from any Ram model before. The front grille is facelifted and it holds a large RAM lettering on it. The headlights are reshaped in order to fit in with a new grille. Both headlights and taillights are adapted to all weather conditions and are using LED units. The bumpers are also new, both front and rear bumper are showing the aggressiveness with the shape and plenty of steel materials.
2019 Ram Rebel TRX Interior will get the latest high-tech features
The 2019 Ram Rebel RTX comes with a comfortable interior, and it offers generous room and latest high-tech amenities. The infotainment system is now better and more colored with great resolution. The new UConnect system comes with an 8.4-inch display that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G LTE and even a USB flip. That display is a great addition to the Rebel model, as the previous display owned a much poorer resolution. Furthermore, it also comes with automatic dual-zone climate control, seven-inch FTF gauge cluster display and analog gauges and large paddle shifters on the steering wheel allow driver full control of the automatic.
On the other hand, the new display comes with a new “pinch-to-zoom” option. The seats are very comfortable and the upholstery is good. Furthermore, the seats also allowing for full six-point racing harnesses in all four seating positions. Overall, the interior looks good and modern and the comfort is great for such a rugged vehicle.
2019 Ram Rebel TRX Engine Variants and Output
Ram’s latest truck comes with a new 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. This mill runs on a gasoline that also powers some of the Dodge’s models, Charger and Challenger. While this unit produces 575 HP with 550 pound-feet, some speculations are telling the other story. Just as Charger and Challenger obtained a Hellcats engine, the same will happen with the new 2019 Ram Rebel TRX.
If the speculations are true, this pickup will arrive with an engine that could produce up to 707 HP and 640 lb-ft of torque. Simply astonishing, next to the fact that the new 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor is coming with a 3.5-liter V-6 and delivers 450 HP. The driver of the new 2019 Ram Rebel TRX will have a choice between Normal, Wet/Snow, Off-Road, and Baja modes.
2019 Ram Rebel TRX Price and Release Date
Ram manufacturer still didn’t produce any exact pricing information. However, this truck will cost around $35,000. The 2019 Rebel TRX is likely to arrive at the beginning of the next year and it will rival Ford F-150 Raptor model.
