Some styling cues are taken from Ram 1500 model, but those cues are looking more massive on Ram’s newest pickup truck. Some would say that the exterior design is aging, and some can’t agree with that as Ram 2500 changed its suite a couple of times since its debut in 2009.
However, for 2019, this truck adds a chrome-cladded exterior and huge front grille with distinctive badging. HD Sport model adds the same front grille but instead of chrome, it is body-colored. Harvest Edition paints this truck in the same color as farm equipment. On top of that, Harvest Edition comes with even more aggressiveness and bigger all-terrain tires and larger tow hooks. 2019 Ram 2500 Interior is unique

2019 Ram 2500 Engine Variants and Specs
The upcoming 2019 Ram 2500 will come with three powertrain options. The base engine is a gasoline-powered 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 383 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque. Same Hemi V8 engine is upgraded to the 6.4-liter mil and is optional. This unit is capable of producing 410 HP and 370 lb-ft of torque. Those two options are good and efficient but if you are a real hauler, a 6.7-liter Cummins is a right choice.
This turbocharged diesel powertrain can burst 370 HP and astonishing 800 lb-ft of torque. Gasoline engines are available only with the 6-speed automatic transmission, while diesel offers a choice between both 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Two-wheel drive setup is standard, however, you can load an optional four-wheel drive configuration.
Acceleration, Fuel Economy and range
With the 6,4 liter engine, this model will accelerate to 7,7 sec from zero to 60 mph. Furthermore, it will reach 100 mph in 21.9 sec. Also, at the driving on the highway, this model will provide 14 mpg. With the full fuel tank, it will range on highway 430 miles.
2019 Ram 2500 Price and Release Date
Ram’s latest pickup truck is priced at $34,000. Top-range Limited models will cost around $75,000. The prices are in line with Chevrolet’s and Ford’s vehicles, however, the 2019 Ram 2500 offers lower resale value.
This pickup will hit the markets in the second half of 2018. Some of the competitors will come from manufacturer Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota.
