2019 Jeep Wrangler may get a new Hybrid Engine

Not every SUV and crossover spotted on the roads can match the iconic Jeep Wrangler in legacy and off-road prowess beyond any doubt. The midsized off-road centric SUV has been a favorite with the buyers since its debut back in 1986. Over the years, the Wrangler lineup has been spruced up by the company in many ways. The 2019 Jeep Wrangler is now ready to hit the roads and it may get the new hybrid engine.

The 2019 lineup comes with some design changes, boost in engine performance and amenities. The new model is way better than the predecessor and minor glitches have been ironed out. However, its performance has not been compromised at all.

2019 Jeep Wrangler has the same Retro Design

The 2019 Jeep Wrangler looks much like the predecessor but on second glance, you will be able to trace the subtle styling changes. The JL series which replaces the JK lineup is more aerodynamic and the shape is more rugged and stylish. The angle of the windshield is a tad different and the typical Jeep styling cues like the grille and round headlights are there.

One can buy it with either hard or soft top. Removing the tops is, however, easier than what it used to be. The LED headlights are optional for Rubicon and Sahara trims. You can buy the models in 2 or 4 door setups. The cabin has also received its share of changes. Barring the base trim- all trims get upscale materials inside and the Rubicon excels on this front.

Safety Sistem

In terms of safety technologies and amenities, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler scores really well. The 8.4-inch touch display unit which is there to control new Uconnect infotainment setup is amazingly good. The touch response is fluid and it is easy to learn too. The airbags are there and a new safety suite is available. It has parking sensors, backup camera, and blind spot detection. However, you do not get autonomous braking by default.
