The upcoming model will be able to accumulate five passengers with two row of seatings. The model will provide18.5 cubic feet of stuff behind the second row. Folding the 60/40-split second-row bench opens the cargo capacity to 50.8 cubic feet of storage.
Safety Features and Amenities
The upcoming Jeep Renegade will get enough safety features and there will be plenty of amenities. The new Uconnect infotainment system will be there for sure. It will support Smartphone OS and Bluetooth. However, the size of the touchscreen will vary from one trim to another. Apart from this display, a Driver Information Digital Cluster will also be present. The upcoming model will use same engines like the predecessor and one new. The 2.4-litre engine that delivers 180 horses and 175 pound-feet of torque and 1.4-litre gasoline that makes 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque may be retained but their output may be enhanced. A 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine may be also there. This engine is also present in latest models Cherokee and Wrangler. With this engine, the model Cherokee can deliver 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, we expect same output for the new 2019 Jeep Renegade.
AWD will be there as an option. However, the industry buzz is that the 2019 Renegade may also get a mild hybrid setup under the hood. It is natural given the company’s push for making its vehicles more fuel efficient and green.

We expect the base trim price of 2019 Jeep Renegade Sport with FWD to start at $18,000. For $2,000 more, one can also get 4WD. The Trailhawk model will like the current model start at $26,895 and if one adds some extra options price will go above $30,000.
