The all-new 2019 Dodge Charger is not an everyday typical family sedan. The exterior design is modern and it looks tough. The design is another thing that does not make new 2019 Dodge Charger a typical family car. It looks mean. The overall shape is no different than older Charger models, however, this sedan managed to look old-fashioned and modern at the same time. Charger looks aerodynamic, and headlights and taillights boost that furthermore.

The taillights layout looks like the layout on some racecars and this sedan really stands out while driving at night. Led daytime running lights are standard, just like a rearview camera, chrome exhaust tips, auto headlights and 17-inch wheels.

The interior of the upcoming 2019 Dodge Charger looks inviting. It is comfortable inside, and the cabin is very functional. The cabin is made in a cockpit-style and everything is angled toward the driver seat. The gauge cluster is very practical and configurable for individual preferences. The steering wheel owns plenty of mounted controls. In the center, an 8.4-inch touchscreen sits, and Charger offers Uconnect infotainment system. Front seats are comfy, so long trips are no problem.

The rear can accommodate up to three adult persons. Power windows are now standard, however, a power sunroof is optional, just like Beats by Dr. Dre sound system. Thanks to plenty of trim levels, the list of standard and optional features are really long. Not only high-tech features, safety is also increased thanks to plenty of amenities like adaptive cruise control, forward emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring.

The 2019 Dodge Charger offers four engine choices, and every engine is tied to a certain trim level. A base model named SXT will feature a 3.6-liter V6 that produces up to 292 HP and 262 lb-ft of torque. This engine will give a fuel economy of 19/30 mpg.

The SXT Plus, GT and GT Plus models will benefit from the same 3.6-liter engine and all-wheel-drive system. This one will score 19/30 mpg for the model with RWD and 18/27 mpg for the AWD.

Daytona trim is using a 5.7-liter V8 that gives 370 HP and 395 lb-ft of torque. It has a fuel economy of 16/25 mpg. A 6.4-liter V8 drivetrain is offered for Daytona 392 and SRT 392 models and it returns 485 HP and 475 lb-ft of torque with the 15/25 mpg in the city/highway.

Remember the first sentence where we said that new Dodge Charger is not an everyday typical family sedan? Well, here is why. SRT Hellcat model features a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 powertrain that is capable of producing an astonishing 707 HP and 650 lb-ft of torque. 8-speed automatic transmission is available with all engines. However, as for the EPA city/highway fuel economy, this model will give 13/22 mpg.

The forthcoming 2019 Dodge Charger starts at $30,000. Top-range SRT Hellcat model with the 707 HP engine will cost around $66,500. The new Dodge’s sedan will become available by the end of 2018.
