Two engine options are offered with the 2019 Chrysler 300. A well-known 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 is the base engine option, again. This drivetrain is standard in four out of five trim levels and it can produce up to 292 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, with Sport Package loaded, this engine returns 300 HP and 264 lb-ft of torque, a slight boost.
The optional engine is a powerful 5.7-liter Hemi V8. This powertrain is standard only on the 300C trim level and it cranks 363 HP and 395 lb-ft of torque. The AWD system on this one type engine is standard, while on V6 is optional.
Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. While the V6’s fuel economy is rated at 18mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway, the Hemi V8 spends 16/25 mpg.
2019 Chrysler 300 Price and Release Date
The 2019 Chrysler 300 starts at $31,000. The sportier 300S will cost $37,000 and Limited model $38,000. The top-range 300C model begins at $43,000 and adding all-wheel drive configuration to V6 models will cost an additional $2,500.
So, if you want a fully loaded Chrysler 300 you’ll have to pay over $50,000. With these prices, Chrysler 300 is slightly more expensive than Chevy Impala and Ford Taurus.
However, it cost less than Hyundai Azera and Toyota Avalon. The newest Chrysler’s full-size family sedan will go on sale in the second half of 2018.
