The Dodge Challenger Demon is a synonym for speed. When we are talking about the best and quickest muscle cars on the planet, we have to include Demon model. With an aggressive design and pleasing interior, Challenger offers one of the strongest drivetrains currently available. And while the current model is producing 797 horsepower, a Hennessey Performance Package will increase the number of horses.
This performance boost is already available, and it will be available for the 2019 and 2020 Challenger Demon models. Thanks to Hennessey Package, the muscle car will now generate astonishing 1035 hp. Moreover, the torque figures will jump over 800 lb-ft. More speed means better safety and Dodge will likely install additional safety equipment, both in and out.
Dodge Challenger Demon comes with parachute installed
While the current Dodge Challenger Demon comes with a five-star crash rating, sometimes that is just not good enough. After all, we are talking about the muscle car with a whopping 1035 horsepower. Besides the huge engine upgrade, Hennessey will install a roll cage that will help Challenger Demon to meet the safety regulations. Even the parachute is installed and it will help the vehicle to slow down in a more natural way.
Besides those changes, Demon model won’t get any further changes. The aerodynamics are great and the exterior design is attractive. An iconic design will remain, which includes the front end with round headlights and aggressive grille. According to the latest rumors, 2021 could get a new platform and further exterior upgrades. For now, the car’s shape and styling will remain.
Dodge Challenger Demon interior will remain sporty
Nothing will change from the inside either. The only change is more standard safety equipment, for a reason. Besides that, everything will stay intact. The interior of the Dodge Challenger Demon will remain modern, sporty and comfy.
The retro design is still present from the inside and we just hope the interior design and layout will remain for years to come.
Dodge Challenger Demon Hennessey Package gives 1,035 hp
The current and future models are equipped with the Hennessey Performance Engineering 1000 package. That means the Dodge Challenger Demon will get a significant increase in power. The regular model produces 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque. The Hennessey Package includes a 4.5-liter supercharger that comes with numerous systems. 1035 horses and 808 lb-ft of torque sounds fascinating. While the rest of the engine specs are not available, we can do a little compare.
The standard model sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Of course that the Challenger Demon with Hennessey package will outperform the regular model. The figures are really impressive. The package also adds supercharger upgrade, long-tube headers, and new fuel injectors. On top of that, high-flow air induction system and high-flow catalytic converters will get an update.
